“By placing Jarrod in the trade class it was easy to see he would excel in this industry if only given the opportunity” Jacques commented.
At the end of 2016 and after serious thought Jacques offered Jarrod one of two intern ships for 2017.
Keen to pursue this new industry Jarrod has had the opportunity to work side by side with the Master craftsmen developing his own style through traditional skills.
“I derive inspiration from Cartier, Dior, Van Cleef and Arpels. I love bright colours as I feel it brings life into my pieces” Jarrod stated from STUDIO41 in Strathalbyn. “I will continue to pursue my Silversmithing and Object making with Jacques for as long as I can. Working next to him is the best part of my week” he shared.
